Marie Jonsson-Harrison; Model of art

August 15th, 2010

Marie Jonsson-Harrison was born in Sweden, her grandparents were famous circus artists and her father is Adelaide based sculptor, Ted Jönsson. Marie emigrated to Australia with her family in 1972, and embarked on a highly successful career ‘diversion’ as an international model. Picking up on peripatetic life of her forebears she was to enjoy success as Miss Summer Spain 1981, South Australia Model of the Year 1982 and National Model of the Year 1984. However her rich artistic heritage soon exerted its primacy and she began painting while pregnant with her son.

When we had a look at creations of Marie, we felt that we are smiling. She is painting a life of joy. She is using too much colours in her works, mixing them in a unique method to give you a sort of happy tale while sailing with your eyes over her creations. Her optimistic character is completely reflected through her art.

Marie had many exhibitions & deserved many awards. Today Marie lives and works in a rural environment on a wheat and sheep grazing farm north of Adelaide. In this ideal environment she enjoys a wonderful family life with her husband, son and daughter – highly conductive to her growth and development. Marie, this is what we expect from you; more art creations giving this world more joy.

Hiroko Sakai; Japanese rose in art garden

December 22nd, 2009

Hiroko Sakai was born in a small town of northern Kyushu island of Japan in early Spring. Her parents were great patrons of culture & art. This helps her to love & taste arts since childhood. Her professional art career started in the graphic arts field in Fukuoka, Japan in the early 1990s. After graduating from Seinan Gakuin University with a BA degree in French and Nihon interior design school, she founded Atelier Yume-Tsumugi Ltd. In San Francisco, the story gained newer dimensions.

Hiroko is a contemporary artist who is celebrating the colours in a method reminding us with the brilliant old Japanese & Eastern arts. She translates feelings & meanings in her creations. She transmits emotions through her brush to the viewers mind & heart. You can feel that her figurative art evolves many thoughts & ideas carrying you on a magical carpet to a world of dreams & fantasies. You will enjoy the Eastern soul while you will not miss the Western American effects on her art works.

In 1998, Hiroko Sakai moved to San Francisco, USA. “I felt disadvantaged because I was a foreigner learning a second language. Now I know that my differences are my strength and I can combine my Japanese and San Francisco backgrounds to produce powerful and unique art works” Hiroko wrote. You are completely right Hiroko Sakai. Different cultures combine together in mind & soul of artist to create extraordinary works. Hiroko; you are a genuine, sensitive & beautiful rose in bouquets of art.

Martha Ramirez; Energy of colours; colours of life

December 11th, 2009

Martha Ramirez is a sensitive & dreaming artist who wants to make this world a better place through her creations. She tries to activate people, after enjoying her art works, to create movement in their life situations. She has a philosophy in her paintings; ” After the inspirations of painting greats such as Kandinsky and Mondrian, I love to paint geometric abstracts that are meant to inspire a person to search within the puzzle pieces to find something more that first strikes them since life is always a mystery until you step back and re-examine it.” She wrote.

Martha Ramirez did not tell us too much about herself. But we can describe her well through her fabulous creations. We can say that she is an energetic person, optimistic & believe in art as a tool to clean burdens over people minds. She has a unique friendship with colours attracting us to live inside her art works & thinking in them. She uses colours in a figurative way to describe interiors helping to inspire others to take an action in art or in life generally. You can feel that each colour is representing a point of view. You have to read them by mind after watching by eyes.

Martha is telling us; “I paint what I call my meridians that are figurative abstracts similar to stain glassed windows. Always female and always with the eyes closed to represent me, the artist, in dream mode, dreaming of a world better than it is, trying to find solutions to make that happen, highly spiritual and enlightening when painted”. We are going to dream with you of a better world but sure we are going to enjoy your wonderful creations.

Ayako Junko Osaki; Spirit of art future

September 26th, 2009

“Success is not really my goal, but rather to live doing what I enjoy doing.” Ayako Junko Osaki, you really attracted us. Ayako was born in Osaka, Japan 1990. She just finished her high school & attended College of Visual Arts. About herself she tells us:” The universe slowly has brought me into the Twin Cities of Minnesota”. It is really a sentence on an artist. She started to draw & paint ” since I could hold a drawing utensil”.

We found creations of Ayako in Facebook. We felt that we are facing a promosing talent in art world. We noticed that she likes caricature & she told us that she was thinking to a professional in comics world. She realized that she needs to express herself & her feelings through different types of art. She started to do so without any formal art study. You will find that she has a unique method in expressing human beings. There is an abstraction in her works. There is a special way in her analysis of human & her/his body. She has a nice colour sensation leading to an attractive mix appearing in her creations.

Ayako apologised that her works are not professional like many of featured artists in “Art Beat”. No dear creative artist, you are a professional creative having the soul of a real artist. By your professional study, you will deepen your experience & drink more & more from different art rivers. For us, we will enjoy with all of your new & dreamy creations. We are sure that you will fly high in art skies.

She was graduated from School of Figurative Art, New York Academy of Art, 2001. Also she studied in Boston College & Lorenzo de’Medici, Florence. She was granted many awards in different countries. She is an instructor at the Montclair State University. Alyssa Monks, this is not enough. Fans have to know more about you.

We were surprised when discovering Alyssa’s creations. She is remarkably talented in her hyper realistic art works. Not only this, she is describing unique feelings in her painting. when looking to faces she painted, you can tell a story about what you see. Alyssa also is a talented translator of bodies languages. She does not immitate what she sees, she colours with passions of art love & paints with her heart palette. We are convinced that she is a mark in this style of art.

We admit that we are fans of Alyssa’s art. we are going to follow her magical steps in art world. If you are like us, you can meet Alyssa Monks & her creations in Sarah Bain gallery in Anaheim, California this november 2009 and in New York city at DFN gallery in March 2010.

Cliff Warner; Shadows of art & creativity

August 8th, 2009

Cliff Warner was born in UK, 25th. January 1961. He received professional art studies. He is specializing in figurative art. His interest in figure originates while being in “Art College”. “I find the figure to be a very versatile vehicle in expressing representational/abstract/expressionistic/impressionistic ideas through the use of different media” Cliff explains the reason of his passion of figurative art.

We hold our breathes while enjoying Cliff’s creations. We find a sort of stylish art work combined to lovely mysterious meanings & sensations in each piece of art. Also we find that his works combine classic painting with a very modern touch covering the whole work. Cliff explains this for us :”My paintings draw from many influences from various other artists, which especially include Renaissance artwork, and more Modernist work by artists  such as Balthus, Mattise, Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiel. These different influences are reflected in the various styles/ideas I use to produce the artwork”

Cliff Warner presents you a fantastic journey through his creations. Enjoy Cliff’s magic & stylish art.

Beatriz Gomez; When art runs in blood

May 31st, 2009

Beatriz Gomez ( Triz Go) is an artist from Bogota, Colombia. She got her first lessons of art from her father, Ricardo Gomez Campuzano, who was a master in his field. She studied many artistic fields like drawing, painting, artistic photography….It is not only painting, she also studied music, especially piano, & compositions & other non artistic studies ( clinical laboratory). She added to all these sciences & experiences a digital background in the form of computer sciences like Photoshop & other applications.

You will notice that Beatriz is a great lover of nature & landscapes. She creates many of her works while hugging this beautiful nature. You can see that she is interested in many small details like grass & small plants as she is translating a mysterious language through her brush. We see that her father & nature are the main teachers in her life.

She attended many exhibitions & conferences. Many art critics commented positively about her creations. But we really want to mention something special. When we contacted Beatriz to post about her, she mentioned that she also publish her father’s works as a great master in his field. She asked us if we are interested in his works. Of course we are interested but the point here is that she is faithful person. She is a faithful daughter of her father & she is a faithful artist of her master. Beatriz, we are faithful fans of you & your art.
